1991 Ventures Joins $1.1 M Pre-Seed Round for Ukrainian Martech Ability AI

Ukrainian martech startup Ability AI has closed a $1.1 million pre-seed round led by SMRK, with participation from 1991 Ventures among other funds and angel investors.

Co-founded in 2023 by Oleksiy Osypenko and Eugene Vyborov, Ability AI offers an AI-driven marketing assistant on a SaaS basis. Its modular “agents” tackle strategy formulation, content creation, landing-page optimization, media buying, analytics and overall campaign management. They aim at small and mid-sized companies turning  $15–20 million annually. The first module, the Strategy Agent, is currently in beta, with full paid packages and the broader platform slated for launch by the end of the year. With the raised capital, Ability.ai plans to expand its team, enhance product development, and launch its system for public clients in the US and Europe.

“We created Ability AI as a reliable tech tool with a clear vision, a product development roadmap, and effectively proven technology. Our agents use top tactics in paid marketing to achieve the best ROAS, revolutionizing digital commerce for marketers and business owners“, CEO and co-founder of Ability AI, Eugene Vyborov, commented in a statement.

Ability AI is one of the selected startups for the Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund, designed to help Ukrainian entrepreneurs maintain and grow their businesses and build a foundation for post-war economic recovery. It has also been featured in Top 100 Rising Ukrainian Startups 2024, a catalogue that highlights the most promising ventures in Ukrainian tech ecosystem.

1991 Ventures champions early-stage companies that merge niche expertise with global vision, and Ability AI is one of the bold solutions we are proud to support.
